how can users learn sustainable and responsible handling with water? this water dispenser demonstrates it in a playful way.
first, users pump the amount of water they need into the glass cylinder. the markings on the cylinder show how much water is inside. after that, they pull the second control element downward, allowing water to flow from the tap, but only for as long as they keep pulling and only up to the amount they had pumped earlier.
this playful interaction visualizes water consumption, as users must first exert some effort to pump the water before they can dispense it. this way, they are made more aware of their water usage.
how should a calculator be designed so that users learn to calculate by using it? this question was the basis of this concept. the design plays with the duality of a classic calculator and an ai model, which is shown by the two screens. in normal mode, additional buttons are displayed on the lower paper display. if users press the orange help button on the side, the ai model appears on the lower screen, and they can choose from several options. the calculator can explain the previous calculation steps, scan a problem from a sheet with the camera on the back, or users can draw something with a pen on the screen.
